Skype prevents users from making calls; working on a fix, says Microsoft
On Monday Skype, Microsoft's online telephone and video service, said that a few users are not able able to make calls because their settings display as that their contacts are offline, even when they are logged in.
Affected Skype users are unable to change their status, but they can able to use instant messaging and Skype for Web services. "A few number of messages to group chats are not being delivered, but in the most cases you can still instant message your contacts," said Skype.
The company also give an alerts that any changes in your Skype account that are your Credit balance or your profile details might take a little while to be displayed..
Skype said in a blog post that,"We are working on this issue and hope to have an update for you soon"
